New Monthly Newsletter Features

New graphs of the ITP Global Trade Demand Indicator - The ITP Indicator measures global demand in the form of trade for each product. It is the sum of imports into all countries, which equals the sum of exports from all countries. Because petrochemical products are extensively traded globally, trade is an important indicator of demand. The new monthly graphs of the ITP Indicator follow the physical movement of product from month to month and indicate current trends in demand.

Graphs of Major Trade Flows - ITP recently added graphs showing the monthly volume of major trade flows over a 13-24 month period, including intra-regional trade in key regions and exports from leading exporting regions to high volume destinations. These graphs make it possible to see the impact of one region's trade on another and to identify emerging trends that are otherwise not evident from year to date quantities and percentage changes.

ITP's Global Trade Report

ITP's Global Trade Report is a quarterly review of trade in commodity polymers, engineering polymers and major organic chemicals. The Global Trade Report is a convenient way of following and comparing major trends for each region. The Report is provided in PDF format.     Download a sample Quarterly Global Trade Report (PDF)
